Overview

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Class 1 Truck Driver to join our logistics team. Must have experience with Highboy and Aggregate. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, and excellent driving skills.

Duties

  • Safely operate a commercial truck to transport freight to designated locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe operating condition.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
  • Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies while on the road and at loading/unloading sites.
  • Perform basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and conducting minor automotive repairs when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Class 1 Driver
  • Truck and Quad Experience
  • End Dump Experience
  • Hi Boy Experience
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) is required.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair is a plus for maintaining vehicle performance.
  • Strong understanding of freight transportation regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
