Job Overview

We are looking for reliable and experienced DZ/AZ dump truck drivers to join our team. **Brand new 2026 tri-axel Mack granite trucks.** The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating dump trucks to transport materials in Toronto (right downtown included) and surrounding areas. This role requires a strong focus on safety, efficiency, and adherence to all transportation regulations. Candidates with experience in heavy equipment operation and commercial driving are required. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on safety and professionalism.

Duties

  • Safely operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, dirt, or debris and/or float heavy equipment to designated locations
  • Conduct daily inspections/circle checks of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues
  • Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety protocols
  • Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
  • Assist with other heavy equipment as needed
  • Follow all safety procedures and traffic laws during transportation activities
  • Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding schedules and any issues encountered

Experience

  • Valid DZ/AZ driver's license with a clean driving record
  • MINIMUM 8 years experience operating tri-axel dump trucks or similar heavy equipment
  • Knowledge of freight handling and transportation regulations
  • Background in automotive repair or maintenance is advantageous
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery safely and efficiently in various environments
  • Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and transportation. RELIABLE, PUNCTUAL & SAFETY FOCUSED.
