Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with young children. This role requires creativity, patience, and the ability to foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development of children aged 3 to 5 years, helping them build foundational skills that will prepare them for their educational journey.

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that promote early learning and development.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment for all children.
  • Assess and monitor children's progress and adapt teaching methods to meet individual needs.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development and classroom activities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive educational experience.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and progress reports.
  • Encourage social interaction and teamwork among students through group activities.
  • Provide support for children with special needs or disabilities, ensuring an inclusive atmosphere.
  • Utilize computer skills for lesson planning, record keeping, and communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with children in a preschool or childcare setting is essential.
  • Bilingual skills in English and French are highly desirable.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills and time management abilities.
  • Leadership qualities to guide students effectively.
  • Familiarity with special education practices is an advantage.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and engage positively with families.
