Front Desk Dental Receptionist

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly organized and personable Front Desk Receptionist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks. This role requires proficiency in office management, strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist clients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Manage multi-line phone systems, directing calls to appropriate personnel and taking messages as needed.
- Perform data entry, filing, and clerical duties to support office operations.
- Maintain appointment calendars, scheduling meetings and managing reminders for staff.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide support with a focus on excellent customer service.
- Ensure the front desk area is organized and presentable at all times.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as typing reports, managing emails, and utilizing Google Workspace applications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a DENTAL FRONT DESK or RECEPTIONIST ROLE is PREFERRED.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace is a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- EXPERIENCE with DENTRIX Dental Software system is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
- Familiarity with multi-line phone systems and strong phone etiquette is essential.
- Previous experience in customer service or administrative roles is a plus.
- Basic bookkeeping knowledge and experience is advantageous.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a busy environment.
