The Stenographer III in the Human Resources Recruitment department works as part of a team to support the regional recruitment activities for Western Zone. This position assists in advancing recruitment for Western Zone; coordinates and provides customer service to our clients, troubleshoots where necessary and acts as the liaison to coordinate logistics for new hires; completes related forms, records and tracks applicant status and coordinates the process from application to start date; assists with job postings and other recruitment/labour supply initiatives; works within and maintains all related electronic workflow tools for the processing of all recruitment/assignments; provides comprehensive administrative support and assistance in planning, organizing and coordinating the activities and work of the team; and performs other related duties. This is a highly responsible position which includes work of a confidential nature.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will have outstanding written and oral communication skills and possess excellent interpersonal/organizational skills. They will be a highly motivated individual that works well within a team environment as well as independently. The incumbent is required to have completed a two-year Office Administration Diploma program, combined with two years experience in Human Resources. Candidates who have graduated from a two-year Business Administration Diploma Program with a concentration in Human Resource Management from a recognized post-secondary institution may also be considered.
