Canso Ford is growing We are looking for a Jr. Parts Specifier / Inventory Clerk, to join our team.
Summary:
This is an entry level position which will afford the right individual an opportunity to learn the automotive business from the ground up in a professional and fun working environment.
The Inventory Clerk position tracks and manages our parts inventory, equipment and merchandise to ensure accurate record keeping and efficient business operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Rotating inventory check
- Updating inventory levels
- Picking parts
- Packing and shipping returns
- Part core management
- Parts receiving
- Other inventory responsibilities as deemed necessary by management
- General parts department cleanliness and organization
As your confidence and skills grow in this position, you will also be introduced to Parts Specifying.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Parts/Inventory Clerk would be an asset but is not necessary; we are willing to train the right individual.
- A keen eye for detail
- Ability to follow instructions
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Computer proficiency and a working understanding of Microsoft Excel
- Willing to learn new automotive specific software
- Positive attitude and ability to work as a part of a team
- Valid driver's license
