• Monday to Friday: 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Saturday: 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• Sunday: By Appointment Only

Position Overview

We are seeking a Registered Psychologist who is compassionate, trauma-informed, and experienced (or interested) in working with MVA patients. The ideal candidate will have a calm, empathetic approach, and the ability to guide patients through emotional recovery after physical or psychological trauma.

You will work collaboratively with our physiotherapists, chiropractors, massage therapists, and other professionals to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary care for clients affected by accidents and injury.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct psychological assessments, consultations, and evidence-based therapy sessions for patients affected by motor vehicle accidents.
• Diagnose and manage mental health conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and adjustment disorders.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate with other practitioners to ensure holistic care.
• Complete and maintain documentation required by insurance and MVA claim protocols (e.g., AB-2, AB-4 forms).
• Provide progress reports and communicate with case managers, insurance adjusters, and referring physicians when needed.
• Offer patient-centered support focused on recovery, resilience, and functional restoration.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with College of Alberta Psychologists ethical standards.
• Contribute to a positive, caring clinic culture that prioritizes empathy, integrity, and professionalism.

Ideal Candidate Attributes

• Registered and in good standing with the College of Alberta Psychologists (CAP).
• Experience with Motor Vehicle Accident cases or trauma-related care preferred.
• Strong communication and clinical documentation skills.
• Compassionate, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive approach to therapy.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Multilingual ability is an asset (Punjabi, Hindi, Filipino, Urdu, Mandarin, etc.).
