Role Description
The IT Coordinator needs to be proactive, resourceful and responsive. This role will provide technical support to CIL team members, and real-time troubleshooting day-to-day issues pertaining to IT systems, networks, infrastructure, computers, servers, software, and peripheral equipment, to avoid work disruptions and downtime.
Responsibilities
- Provide help-desk services for all users
- Install, upgrade, and configure software programs and hardware equipment (printers, monitors, etc.)
- Diagnose PC hardware and software related problems, perform repairs, and provide support for a wide range of applications
- Ensure that company devices interconnect with file servers, email servers, and ERP system seamlessly
- Organize troubleshooting٫ repairs and data restoration, escalating issues to the 3rd-Party IT provider when applicable
- Facilitate the interaction between end users and higher-level support
- Manage and maintain organization's technological equipment, such as computers, tablets, printers, and smartphones (and phone plans)
- Manage all software licensing
- Participate in hardware and software evaluations/reviews and recommend purchases to the IT Department
- Create and modify SQL queries and SSRS reports, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.
- Create C#/.NET customizations
- Troubleshoot computer, printer, and network related issues, escalating issues the IT Technical Lead if needed
- Assist the IT technical lead in developing small scale applications and integrations with external services.
- Assist the IT Technical lead with scoping and providing recommendations in regards to the company's cybersecurity stance
- Assist the Systems Analyst in developing and implementing Epicor BAQ, BPM, Trackers, Dashboards, and SSRS reports to support end-user reporting and workflow requirement
- Work with other IT team members to support data migration, security, and configuration efforts
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Emergency Operations support as assigned
Experience, Education and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field
- Additional certifications (CompTIA Network+٫ CompTIA Security+ etc.) will be a bonus
- Experience with working on an IT coordinator or other relevant position
- Experience with Epicor or any other ERP software is a plus
- Proficiency in C#, C++, SQL, or Python
- Working knowledge of Windows servers, SQL server, networks, PC's, and Microsoft Office
- Hands-on experience with Networking/Infrastructure components and technologies such as Switch, Router, Firewall and VPN
- Good knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration
- Strong understanding of Core Server Roles such as Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and File Sharing
- Ability to communicate to technical and non-technical audience
- Teamwork attitude with accountability, and strong work ethic
- Deadline driven and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
