Duties

  • Perform professional nail services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
  • Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness according to health regulations to ensure client safety
  • Consult with clients on nail care preferences, color choices, and design ideas using your knowledge of color theory and current trends
  • Educate clients on proper nail maintenance and recommend suitable products or treatments to enhance their nail health
  • Upsell additional services like eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to maximize client satisfaction and revenue
  • Manage retail sales of nail products and beauty accessories through effective upselling techniques
  • Keep detailed records of services provided and client preferences for personalized future appointments

Skills

  • Strong understanding of color theory to create visually appealing designs that complement each client's style
  • Excellent customer service skills to build rapport and ensure a positive experience for every guest
  • Knowledge of sanitation protocols to uphold the highest hygiene standards in all procedures
  • Formal training in cosmetology or esthetician certification with specialization in nail care
  • Proficiency in advanced nail techniques such as gel application, acrylics, and 3D nail art
  • Ability to perform hair extensions, hair threading, body waxing, and basic hair styling as optional complementary services
  • Experience with retail math to accurately handle transactions and upselling opportunities
  • Effective communication skills to clearly explain treatments and product recommendations to clients
