We're looking for a reliable and experienced Concrete Lead Hand to join our growing team and help lead crews on a variety of projects working directly with the Site Foreman.

Position Overview:

As a Concrete Lead Hand, you'll be responsible for leading and supervising concrete crews, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity on site. You will report directly to the Site Foreman or Project Manager and play a key role in keeping projects running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a crew in formwork, placing, finishing, and curing concrete
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Ensure quality control and compliance with all safety regulations
  • Organize daily tasks, delegate work, and oversee crew productivity
  • Maintain a clean and organized job site
  • Communicate with site foreman, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Train and mentor junior crew members

Qualifications:

  • 3–5 years of concrete or carpentry construction experience (including finishing & formwork)
  • Strong knowledge of concrete tools, materials, and best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans
  • Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physical labor
  • Safety certifications (e.g. First Aid, WHMIS, CSTS) are an asset
