We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Lextegrity team. This role is crucial in managing and optimizing our infrastructure and deployment processes, ensuring high availability and performance of our services. The Case IQ and Lextegrity product suites process millions of transactions, providing risk scores and insights that help compliance users prioritize reviews and proactively avoid risks like fraud, corruption, and bribery.

What You'll Do

  • Infrastructure Management: Maintain and optimize our infrastructure, ensuring the seamless operation of systems like API Gateways, ECS Containers, PostgreSQL databases, and GitHub Actions workflows. The candidate will also support the administration/security of these tools and seek cost optimizations as we scale.
  • Deployment Automation: Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines automate deployment processes, ensuring rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance and implement improvements to ensure high availability and scalability of the compliance monitoring platform.
  • Security and Compliance: Implement best practices for security and compliance, ensuring that all systems and processes adhere to industry standards and regulations.
  • Data Quality Assurance: Work closely with QA to define a testing strategy that maintains usable data across environments, safeguards customer information, and facilitates high confidence in functionality with each deployment.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development and data teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of new features and updates.
  • Incident Management: Respond to and resolve system incidents, minimizing downtime and ensuring the reliability of our services.
  • Maintain a high standard of security awareness, ensuring data protection, compliance with company policies, and adherence to industry standards in all aspects of work.

What We're Looking For

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience. 5+ years in a DevOps or similar role.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong experience with AWS services and infrastructure as code. Solid familiarity with containerization technologies, specifically Docker. Experience with modern SasS web application operation principles such as auto scaling, load balancing, gateways, monitoring and secrets management. Multi-cloud experience is a plus.
  • Infrastructure as Code: Experience with AWS infrastructure as code tools (e.g., CDK) for managing cloud resources.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Proven experience in setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, with a focus on automation and efficiency.
  • Security Practices: Knowledge of security best practices and experience implementing security measures in cloud environments.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
  • Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication skills, capable of working well within a team and engaging with stakeholders across the organization.
  • Security Acumen: Familiarity with the OWASP Top 10 web application security risks and a strong understanding of software security principles.
