Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sewing and dress making and also dress alterations, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where attention to detail and precision are highly valued. The Seamstress will be responsible for creating, repairing, and altering dressesto meet customer specifications and company standards.

Duties

  • Measure and assess fabric and dress specifications to ensure proper fit and design.
  • Sew, alter, and repair dresses with precision and attention to detail.
  • Operate sewing machines and other related equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete orders within specified timeframes.
  • Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring all dresses meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist in inventory management of fabrics, threads, and sewing supplies as needed.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Seamstress or in a similar sewing or tailoring role.
  • Manufacturing or warehouse experience is preferred but not required.
  • Strong sewing skills with proficiency in using various sewing machines and tools.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work consistently.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings or patterns.
  • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
