Role Overview
The
Concrete Finishing Supervisor
is responsible for managing and overseeing all final-stage concrete activities on construction projects, ensuring work is completed
safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
. Reporting to the
Project Manager
and
Site Superintendent
, this role plays a key part in maintaining operational efficiency, quality control, and timely project completion.

The Supervisor will coordinate site teams, subcontractors, and finishing crews while ensuring compliance with
drawings, specifications, safety regulations, and company procedures
. This position requires travel to various project sites throughout the
Lower Mainland
.

Qualifications And Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in concrete finishing supervision or related commercial construction/formwork roles
  • Post-secondary diploma in Construction Management or a Journeyman Trade Certification (preferred)
  • Proven track record managing subcontractors, quality control, and punch list completion
  • Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts
  • In-depth understanding of concrete mix designs, finishing methods, FF/FL standards, and CSA/ACI specifications
  • Proficient with Bluebeam, MS Office, and quality management platforms (e.g., Procore, InEight)
  • Excellent leadership, coordination, and communication skills across teams, trades, and clients
  • Solid understanding of WorkSafeBC safety procedures and ability to maintain clean, safe work environments
  • Valid safety certifications (e.g., WHMIS, First Aid, Fall Protection)
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently or in a team
  • Reliable PPE and transportation to job sites required

  • Spanish language skills considered an asset
