Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position based in the Greater Edmonton Metropolitan Area. The Account Manager will act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing personalized solutions for their insurance needs. Daily responsibilities include managing client accounts, creating insurance proposals, handling renewal processes, building strong client relationships, and proactively addressing customer inquiries and concerns. The role also involves collaborating with insurance carriers to negotiate and deliver optimal policies for clients while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of the insurance industry and compliance regulations.

Qualifications

  • Strong customer service and client relationship management skills
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities
  • Experience in sales, marketing, and maintaining client retention
  • Familiarity with insurance products, policies, and industry regulations
  • Proficiency in common sense based problem-solving skills
  • Ability to handle client requests in a holistic manner servicing existing clients and at the same time improving sales via cross selling and upselling
  • Ability to work independently while contributing to team success
  • General Level 1 License in Alberta is required, with preference given to those with Level 2 License
  • Prior experience in insurance or a related field is highly desirable
  • Experience working on Epic & Applied Rating System
  • Criminal Back ground check required
