Dealer Business Manager, Rogers Business, Ontario
Reporting to the Sr Director, Dealer and Partner Channel, The Dealer Business Manager (DBM) is responsible for working closely with Ontario-based Dealer Principals and their business sales teams to deliver targeted revenue growth across the small, medium and commercial customer segments. The DBM will collaborate with internal and external channel stakeholders to identify opportunities, remove obstacles, and create sales and business development plans that deliver the wireline and wireless revenue objectives.
What you'll be Doing:
- Meet regularly with Dealer leadership to share insight, objectives, and collect feedback.
- Identify opportunities and advocate for solutions that benefit your dealers, and the channel and business at large.
- Use Salesforce to conduct regular funnel reviews to ensure funnel health and identify key opportunities for extra support.
- Ensure process obstacles and competitive intelligence is shared to the appropriate internal stakeholders in a timely manner.
- Create strategic territory plans that target priority KPIs, with particular attention to Internet, Wireline Solutions, IoT and other new products and growth categories.
- Provide on-going coaching, leadership and development of sales employees to continuously improve their sales skills to ensure quotas are met.
- Manage the resolution of sensitive customer requests and issues where necessary.
- Ensure channel readiness to maximize the effectiveness of national and regional programs.
- Work with regional marketing to plan and execute marketing programs and customer events.
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the product catalog, pricing, and sales process for business products and services sold through the dealer channel.
- Ensure Dealers and their sales representatives adhere to account management standards and rules of engagement.
- Review and approve Salesforce cases, offers, and contracts where required by process.
- Travel is required within the Ontario Region.
What you will Bring:
- Minimum 3-5 years progressive sales experience, preferably in a commissioned sales role with a B2B focus. Direct sales and channel sales experience are both an asset.
- Extensive knowledge of the Wireless and Wireline industries preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to coach and motivate an indirect team through influence (this role does not have direct reports).
- Post-secondary education in a business-related field or equivalent experience would be an asset.
- A general understanding of the revenues and costs in the industry, and how Rogers and Dealers achieve mutual profitability.
- Results-oriented with a proven ability to meet both short-term and long-term business objectives.
- A history of developing, fostering and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers.
- Strong communication and analytical skills. Proficiency with MS Office suite is required.
- Experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
- Ability to work independently to achieve goals and meet deadlines.
