Summary

We are seeking a Customer Representative to join our dynamic team at ShipWise Logistics Inc. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and efficiency. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining our commitment to providing reliable logistics services.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person.
  • Manage order lifecycle from scheduling pick-up/delivery appointments to final delivery.
  • Monitor service commitments and proactively track and trace shipments.
  • Update TMS and notify clients of any service delays or changes in delivery timelines.
  • Maintain strong relationships with shippers and consignees; coordinate for any exceptions.
  • Conduct client satisfaction surveys and identify opportunities for service improvement.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as billing, data entry, and document filing.
  • Support inside sales by upselling services and conducting follow-up calls.
  • Train and onboard new team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive customer-focused solutions.
  • Participate in projects and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years as customer service in Freight forwarding / Logistics company in Canada.
  • Ability to provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong telephone skills and etiquette and exceptional customer service skills
  • Efficient computer skills in MS Office Word, Excel, Word, Outlook and Gmail.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy with data collection and order entry
  • Client focused and able to think on your feet, build rapport quickly, and possess consultative listening skills to identify client needs and potential solutions.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Fluent English required
