Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role requires proficiency in using hand tools and power tools, as well as the ability to read schematics and perform assembly tasks. The Automotive Technician will work closely with customers to provide exceptional service while ensuring vehicles are repaired efficiently and effectively.

Duties

  • Perform diagnostic assessments on vehicles to identify issues and determine necessary repairs.
  • Execute automotive repairs including engine, transmission, brake, and electrical system work.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various repair tasks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid checks.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used for each vehicle.
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients about their vehicle's needs and repair options.
  • Assist in heavy lifting tasks when necessary, ensuring safety protocols are followed.

Requirements

  • Previous mechanic experience is required; dealership experience is a plus.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot automotive systems effectively.
  • Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and equipment related to automotive repair.
  • Familiarity with schematics and assembly processes related to vehicle components.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on client satisfaction.
