Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts to move materials and products efficiently while ensuring safety and accuracy. This role requires strong communication skills and a commitment to excellent customer service, as you will be interacting with team members and potentially clients.

Duties

  • Operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within the warehouse.
  • Ensure the safe handling of heavy lifting tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records by tracking the movement of goods.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely deliveries.
  • Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure optimal performance.
  • Assist in organizing the warehouse layout for efficient storage and retrieval of products.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

  • Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks as required by the job.
  • Previous experience in customer service is a plus, enhancing interactions with clients.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics is advantageous.
