For over 11 years, Luxia has been committed to innovation, environmental responsibility, and delivering top-quality service—all while valuing our employees and the communities we serve.Luxia is currently seeking a Polisher/Finisher to ensure the flawless finishing of woodveneer and composite material parts.You will be responsible for selecting the appropriate tools and applying both manualand powered techniques to achieve high-quality finishes, all while maintaining precisedimensions and proportions. This role requires exceptional craftsmanship and a keen eye for detail.RESPONSIBILITIES:Polish and finish high-end aircraft interior parts (e.g., wood veneer, composite materials) to correct defects or prepare surfaces for further finishing, using handtools and power tools as needed;Select and apply appropriate abrasive papers, polishing pads, pastes, and compounds based on material type, finish specifications, and stock removal requirements;Measure, mark, and adjust parts to ensure polishing standards, dimensions, andtolerances are met;Load and adjust workpieces onto equipment or worktables, ensuring they arepositioned correctly for finishing and polishing processes;Adhere to aviation regulations, quality assurance guidelines, and OEM standards during all finishing tasks;Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment, following all safety protocols and using required personal protective equipment (PPE).SKILLS & QUALITIES :1- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role in a manufacturing or industrialenvironment;2- High school diploma or any other relevant training in a production-related field.3- Knowledge of reading blueprints (an asset);4- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and precision;5- Familiarity with tools like polishers, sanders, torque wrenches, and multimeters;6- Capable of working both independently and as part of a team;BENEFITS:• Health care and medication• Life and long-term disability insurance• Paid time off• Flexible working hours offered• Flexibilité d'horaires offerte:• Free parking• Annual OPUS card provided to encourage environmental preservation**Type de contrat: Permanent full-time, Monday to FridayWork Schedule: 40 hours per week.**
