Your role:
We are looking for a tech-savvy, detail-oriented individual to join our Data Services team as a Data Services Specialist. As the Data Services Specialist, you will support our Client Services team to complement and facilitate data management requests and perform technical tasks that promote the daily processes and business operations of the Data Services team.
The role requires a resourceful individual who is energetic, adaptable, logical, tech-savvy, and works well independently but thrives in a team environment; someone who enjoys learning, building relationships, and possesses good business acumen.
The role may require you to work on statutory holidays. During training you may be required to work in-office up to 5 days per week.

Your responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional service to both external and internal customers while maintaining department SLAs
- Transfer data across multiple environments
- Configure internal systems accurately based on changing requirements
- Perform CRM record maintenance and updates
- Organize, analyze and validate processing reports
- Create and update spreadsheets, documents and templates
- Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals
- Research and document technical information on an ad-hoc basis
- Present solutions for our customers' needs based on Global Relay's policies, procedures and technologies
- Ability to meet strict deadlines
- Repetitive work required
About you:
- Post-secondary diploma/certificate, or relevant work experience
- Technical/desktop troubleshooting skills, and computer proficiency required
- Understands importance of quality control, information integrity, completeness and accuracy of data
- Ability to write and speak English fluently, and possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint & Outlook)
- Exceptional time-management, organizational, and prioritizing skills with great attention to detail
- Strong work ethic with a willingness to multi-task and be flexible to take on varied responsibilities
- Ability and maturity to exercise tact and discretion, and be entrusted with confidential information
- Good judgment to proactively and independently solve problems and make sound decisions
- Goal oriented self-starter who can work independently and reliably with minimal supervision
- Demonstrates technical aptitude and an appetite for continuous learning
- Comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to handle challenging situations with integrity, empathy and sincerity
- A friendly, "can-do" attitude and customer focused approach
Compensation:
Global Relay advertises the pay range for this role in compliance with British Columbia's pay transparency laws. Individual pay rates are determined by evaluating factors such as expertise, skills, education, and professional background.
The range below reflects the expected annual base salary, which is only one element of our comprehensive total rewards package designed to reflect our company pay philosophy, culture and values. We aim to foster an inspiring work environment and support employees' work-life rhythms. We provide a comprehensive extended health benefits program, including virtual healthcare and a wellness allowance. Employees also receive annual allotted vacation days, which increase based on tenure. Other benefits include: Paid sick days, maternity/parental enhancement program, bonus, and an RRSP contribution matching program.
For Vancouver-based employees, we provide a subsidized meal program, courtesy of our talented in-house culinary team
