We are independently owned. We are seeking a passionate, skilled, motivated and experienced Animal Care Attendant (ACA) to join our dynamic clinic.

Job Description:

As a Animal Care Attendant (ACA) at our clinic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our animal patients. You will work closely with veterinarians and veterinary technicians to assist with medical procedures, diagnostics, patient care, and client education.

Key Responsibilities:

Your duties and responsibilities for this Position will include, without limitation:

  • Feeding and cleaning animals
  • Preparing and stocking exam rooms
  • Animal restraint
  • Clean, maintain and sterilize instruments, equipment, and materials
  • Taking vital signs, prepare patients, instruments and equipment for surgery
  • Educate clients on pet care, schedule appointments, and maintain patient records
  • Work well with all team members and ensure that your actions support the practice philosophy.

Qualifications:

  • Formal training in animal care as a Veterinary assistant, or relevant work experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong multitasking and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Reliability, punctuality and excellent time management
