Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of production team members on the assembly line to meet daily production goals.
  • Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and operational procedures.
  • Utilize mechanical knowledge and hand tools to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly, minimizing downtime.
  • Operate and oversee the use of forklifts and power tools safely within the factory environment.
  • Manage workflow in the warehouse area, including inventory movement and storage using warehouse experience.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and assembly lines to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Train new team members on safety procedures, equipment operation, and assembly techniques.
  • Maintain detailed records of production output, safety incidents, and equipment maintenance logs.
  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize manufacturing processes and improve overall efficiency.
  • Enforce safety policies rigorously to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.

Experience

  • Proven factory experience in a manufacturing facility environment with hands-on mechanical knowledge.
  • Prior experience supervising or leading assembly line teams in a fast-paced setting.
  • Familiarity with warehouse operations, including forklift operation and inventory management.
  • Skilled in using hand tools and power tools for maintenance or assembly tasks.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, safety regulations, and quality control standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate teams and coordinate across departments.
