Shop Foreman – Transport Truck & Trailer Service Facility
City Tire & Auto (Mount Pearl) is seeking a Shop Foreman to join its customer focused & safety-oriented team, at its Transport Truck & Trailer Service Facility in Mount Pearl.
Work Expectation
· Supervise and manage staff: Assign tasks, track progress, provide training, and resolve issues
· Ensure quality and efficiency: Monitor the quality of work, ensure all tasks are completed on time, and maintain an organized and efficient workflow
· Maintain safety and order: Enforce safety procedures, manage hazardous conditions, and ensure a clean and hazard-free facility
· Manage resources: Oversee inventory, order supplies, and manage tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working order
· Communication: Act as a liaison between staff, management, and other departments or customers
· Permanent position: 40 Hours a week, 8:00AM to 5:00PM – Monday through Friday
The Ideal Candidate
· A skilled journeyperson (must be Red Seal Certified) that works well with others
· Willing and eager to work with apprentices to enable their progression in the trade
· Must be able and willing to take assignments as directed from management team
· A valid driver's license is non-negotiable. Applicant must provide a satisfactory driver's abstract
Compensation
· Competitive compensation: $40.00-$50.00 per hour
· 5 Paid Sick-Days, 10 Paid Vacation-Days (starting), 6* Paid Statutory Holidays, and 6* Other Paid Holidays
