What you will doManage the design and development of defendable transfer pricing policies and models for goods, services and intangible property, such as trade names, trademarks, licenses, and technology.Direct the implementation of transfer pricing models and policies for clientsReview transfer pricing reports for documentation and audit defense purposesCollaborate with tax authorities on issues arising from transfer pricing audits
Support in developing strategies for obtaining advance pricing agreements and negotiate with tax authoritiesCollaborate with international tax colleagues and other groups on structuring international arrangementsOversee multiple engagement, while supervising team resources and managing client expectationsWhat you bring to the role
Degree from an accredited university in a relevant field, preferably in Commerce or EconomicsMinimum 5 years experience specializing in transfer pricing practiceStrong understanding of tax audits and negotiating with tax authoritiesStrong communication skills (oral & written)Understanding of quantitative methods and ability to interpret results in a qualitative mannerPrior experience managing teams and coaching and mentoring junior resourcesSuccessful completion of CPA or In-depth Tax course or international equivalent an asset
