Duties

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
  • Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Assemble components and systems as needed during repairs or upgrades.
  • Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and provide exceptional service throughout the repair process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
  • Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and equipment as required.

Requirements

  • Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in automotive repair.
  • Dealership experience is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment.
  • Solid understanding of mechanical systems and automotive maintenance practices.
  • Ability to read schematics and technical manuals effectively.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients.
  • Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and stand for extended periods during work shifts.
