Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Professional Window Technician to handle the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial windows. The ideal candidate will have experience with various window types, excellent technical skills, and a commitment to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

  • Install, repair, and maintain windows in residential and commercial properties
  • Measure, cut, and fit window frames and glass accurately
  • Remove and replace damaged or old windows
  • Ensure proper sealing, insulation, and alignment of windows
  • Inspect windows for defects and provide recommendations to clients
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area
  • Report any issues, damages, or safety hazards to management
  • Follow company safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Window Technician or similar role.
  • Proven experience in window installation, repair, or glazing for residential and/or commercial properties.
  • Technical skills with hand tools, power tools, glass handling, and window hardware installation.
  • Ability to read and interpret measurements, blueprints, or schematics
  • Knowledge of window types, materials (glass, vinyl, aluminum, wood), and proper installation techniques.
  • Ability to work at heights and lift heavy materials.
  • Understanding of safety standards, including working at heights and using PPE
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
  • Good problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot window issues
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to job sites
  • Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and clients
  • Relevant certifications (optional but preferred), such as WHMIS, fall protection, or glazing certifications

Schedule

  • Full-time, Monday to Friday (flexible as needed for job sites)
  • Some evening or weekend work may be required

Pay

  • Competitive hourly wage or salary (based on experience)
