Rental Salesperson

We are seeking a self-motivated rental salesperson who will work under the rental manager, performing various customer service and rental sales duties.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Full-time position
• Clearly communicate with the customer about their rental agreements and equipment operation.
• Assist a diverse range of customers in determining their rental equipment needs.
• Check equipment in and out with customers.
• Processing contracts
• Handle clerical duties using Word, Excel, & CDK
• Coordinate equipment repairs in-house and from 3rd party vendors.
• Perform a variety of duties to prepare equipment for customers.
• Promote equipment rental activity with new and current customers through various communication methods.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• It is essential for the applicant to be customer satisfaction-driven, with good communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Candidates must be able to pass a background check, including a criminal history check, successfully.
• Class 5 Driver's license (willing to upgrade to a class 3)
• Willing and able to work outside when needed year-round.
• Ideal candidate will have inside/outside sales or retail experience
• Have some mechanical/electrical knowledge to be able to assess and diagnose unit functionality issues
• Professional/engaging personality with a willingness to learn
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• CDK experience is an asset.
