Access Control & CCTV Technician

Who We Are

We're a growing team of security pros who specialize in installing top-notch CCTV and access control systems for commercial and industrial clients. We take pride in doing things right—on time, on budget, and with integrity. Right now, we're looking for a skilled Access Control & CCTV Technician who's confident in the field and ready to hit the ground running.

The Role

We're after someone who knows their way around CCTV systems and access control setups. If you're a self-starter who enjoys problem-solving, working independently, and occasionally leading others—this could be a great fit. Bonus points if you're certified in Salto or Kantech

What You'll Be Doing

  • Installing and maintaining CCTV systems
  • Setting up and supporting access control systems (Salto, Kantech preferred)
  • Troubleshooting system issues—both in person and remotely
  • Reading and working from blueprints, schematics, and manuals
  • Teaming up with project managers and mentoring junior techs when needed
  • Following safety standards and keeping job sites clean and efficient

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1-3 years of hands-on experience with CCTV and access control
  • Comfortable running jobs on your own
  • Certified in Salto or Kantech (or willing to get certified)
  • Able to program/configure systems without needing hand-holding
  • Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
  • Good communicator and team player
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • TQ (Security Alarm) or under supervision
  • Valid BC Security License
  • Comfortable working on ladders and at heights
  • Okay with occasional travel for jobs
