Please note this is an on-call position, there is no hours promised as you will only be scheduled for time off request and sick coverage.

Responsibilities and Duties

-Must have a passion to help children learn and grow

-Obtain a police vulnerable check (VSC)

-Observe and record children's growth and development and discuss observations with parents.

-Document and plan learning experiences

-Integrate children with special needs into the daily program

-Prepare and set up play and learning materials for the children.

-Help children with daily routines such as toileting, dressing, eating, and sleeping

-Positively guide children's behaviour and social development.

-Maintain a safe, clean and appealing environment.

-Perform basic first aid as needed.

-Must be available Monday to Friday for all centre hours (6:30am-6:30pm) and flexible in working with all age groups.
