Job Overview

We are seeking an Import and Export Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This pivotal role involves managing the logistics of importing and exporting goods, ensuring compliance with regulations, and facilitating smooth operations within the supply chain. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing our operational efficiency and supporting our commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Duties

  • Coordinate all aspects of import and export activities, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations.
  • Manage shipping and receiving processes, including documentation, customs clearance, and freight forwarding.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, order fulfillment, and stock movements.
  • Oversee packaging requirements for shipments to ensure product safety during transit.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline warehouse distribution and optimize logistics operations.
  • Perform order picking, packing, and stocking duties as needed to support warehouse functions.
  • Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners safely and efficiently.
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory levels, and order statuses using MRP (Material Requirements Planning).

Experience

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in import/export coordination or a related field is preferred.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems and e-commerce platforms is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of shipping processes, customs regulations, and international trade compliance.
  • Familiarity with basic math skills for inventory management and order processing tasks.
  • Previous experience in a warehouse environment with hands-on involvement in shipping & receiving operations is essential.
