About Us

Elevation Athletics is a growing community sports organization dedicated to promoting teamwork, skill development, and sportsmanship across BC. We run youth and adult leagues in pickleball, basketball, badminton, and more , all focused on creating inclusive and engaging environments for players of all levels.

Position Overview

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Sports Coordinators to lead and support our Basketball and Pickleball leagues in Chilliwack.

Coordinators will arrive on-site before participants to set up equipment (nets, balls, scoreboards, etc.), ensure safety and organization, and facilitate smooth and fun gameplay. Prior coaching or leadership experience in sports is an asset, but we also provide training for motivated individuals eager to get involved.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee league play for basketball and/or pickleball.
  • Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive atmosphere for players.
  • Set up and take down equipment before and after sessions.
  • Provide coaching tips and basic instruction as needed.
  • Manage communication with participants and facility staff.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in coaching, refereeing, or coordinating youth or adult sports (basketball or pickleball preferred).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Access to a reliable vehicle for equipment transport.
  • First Aid certification (preferred or required upon hire, will reimburse).
  • Vulnerable Sector Background Check (required upon hire, will reimburse)

Experience (Preferred but Not Required)

  • Coaching certification or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with recreational league operations.
  • Passion for sports and community engagement.
