The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for developing new business and managing relationships with clients across the British Columbia regions. This role involves regular travel to client sites, identifying customer needs, providing tailored solutions, and achieving sales growth targets. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, customer-focused, and capable of building long-term partnerships.

Key responsibilities will include:

  1. Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within assigned territory.
  2. Conduct regular client visits, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  3. Build and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships.
  4. Understand client needs and recommend appropriate SafeSmart Access solutions.
  5. Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and contracts.
  6. Collaborate with the inside sales and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
  7. Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  8. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system.
  9. Represent SafeSmart Access professionally at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. 2–5 years of outside sales or business development experience (B2B required)
  2. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  3. Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  4. Self-starter with strong organizational and time-management skills.
  5. Experience in construction, industrial equipment, or safety solutions is an asset.
  6. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory.
  7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
