Job Summary

The Immigration Case Worker will be responsible for managing client files, preparing immigration applications, and ensuring compliance with all federal and provincial immigration regulations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for helping clients navigate the immigration process.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough interviews with clients to assess their needs and develop personalized action plans.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed case files, ensuring all documentation is properly filed and organized .
  • Draft legal documents and correspondence related to client cases, ensuring clarity and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Provide clerical support, including proofreading documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Manage projects related to client services, to ensure timely delivery of services.
  • Exhibit professional phone etiquette when communicating with clients, service providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Regularly review and update case files to reflect changes in client status or needs.
  • Assess applicants' eligibility based on immigration laws, policies, and program requirements.

Requirements

  • Minimum one (1) year of relevant work experience in Canada
  • Strong understanding of Canadian immigration programs and policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for effective client interaction.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and case management software.
  • High attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple cases simultaneously.
  • A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in all interactions.
