In 1949 they acquired the four-year-old Vancouver branch of an American-based company. From this modest beginning, the Company now has a Head Office in Burnaby, Eighteen Branches, and Four Distribution Centers spread across Western Canada. Scope of the position

Refrigerative Supply's Technical Support and Training position are responsible for establishing and promoting relationships with customers and RSL employees aimed at our growth and profitability. In order to assure future business and profitability, the foundation of that relationship will be based on integrity, trust, and credibility. The primary function of the position is to provide technical support and training to our customers and employees. The position requires an excellent understanding of all HVAC equipment sold by RSL, along with strong technical training, communication, and presentation skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and retain long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, engineers, and RSL employees.
• Remain current with new product developments through ongoing training and education from our suppliers.
• Proactively seeks opportunities to become the preferred supplier of commercial and residential HVAC equipment.
• Deliver technical training to RSL employees, contractors, and engineers as needed within the province, including facilitating manufacturer-led sessions at both remote sites and Refrigerative Supply locations.
• Deliver technical support and troubleshooting assistance to RSL employees and customers via our ticketing system.
• Conduct on-site visits for complex system issues followed by a comprehensive report outlining findings and recommendations.
• Participate in professional organizations, conferences, networking events, and tradeshows.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of HVAC technical experience.
• Journeyman certificate required.
• Must have excellent knowledge of HVAC systems.
• Must have demonstrated HVAC-related troubleshooting skills.
• Outstanding business development acumen with the ability to produce and deliver compelling technical and sales training presentations.
• Demonstrated consultative/solution-seeking skills and proven ability to influence the market at key levels.
• Excellent initiative and interpersonal communications skills.
• Exemplary customer service skills.
• Results driven, ability to handle multiple tasks, energetic and self-motivated.
• Proficient with Microsoft software including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with other computer systems/programs. Example: manufacturer/supplier programs and websites.
• Ability to travel within the province and to supplier training locations as required.

What we offer:

The target salary range for this position is
$85,000 - $100,000 CAD
. The pay range for this position is a general guideline only. The salary will depend on internal pay equity and the candidate's relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and job market data.
