Overview

Direct Connect Electric Inc., a COR certified company, is seeking a skilled Journeyperson Electricians to join our team. We specialize in both commercial and residential electrical contracting. Benefits are provided by the Manitoba Construction Insurance Plan (MCIP).

Duties

  • Perform electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs in accordance with local and national electrical codes
  • Renovate and build electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and low voltage equipment to complete projects efficiently
  • Interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of electrical wiring
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Conduct inspections to identify issues and troubleshoot electrical problems
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment

Requirements

  • Red Seal certification
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and troubleshooting techniques
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Physical stamina and dexterity to handle the demands of the job
