Browns Crafthouse Chuka Blvd. is looking for a motivated restaurant and culinary professional ready to join our team of restaurateurs as a Sous Chef. While this past year has brought many unknowns to the hospitality industry, Browns Restaurant Group have continued to provide our unmistakable quality of service and food to our guests through indoor dining and take-out business.

Kitchen Leaders at Browns Crafthouse don't just run a kitchen– they stand shoulder to shoulder with their team, driving and demanding success by following a formula that works; systems, coaching and communication. How do we know? Because we help you get there.

Role/Responsibilities:

Assist in the day-to-day kitchen operation (after extensive training), which will include:

Execute food to our exact specifications and presentation within our timing standards

Continual Training, development and motivating our quality employees

Coach and follow proper food safety, health and sanitization and cleaning practices

Continuously learn, observe and maintain Browns Socialhouse systems and operations

Oversee inventory, prep inventory, and ordering levels

Assist the team in menu rollouts and product updates, including training and quality control

Encourage teamwork and communication with all staff in our Socialhouse

Delegate, coach and share responsibilities to ensure smooth operations daily.

Manage food, labour, and other kitchen-related costs within our allocated KPI range

Perform other duties as assigned by Kitchen Manager and /or General Manager

Requirements:

Your compensation package includes:

Total job compensation ( base / other ) is 54k +
