Title: Product Marketing Intern

Location: Downtown Office, Vancouver B.C.

Hours: M-F, 40 hr / week

Salary: ~$22.11 /hr - $28.84 /hr

Start Date: Tuesday January 13, 2026 or earlier if available

End Date: May 1, 2026

Are you fascinated by how generative AI is fundamentally reshaping how marketing teams work? Do you see AI not as a tool for automation, but as a creative partner that can unlock entirely new ways of reaching customers and enabling teams?

GeoComply is looking for a curious, ambitious intern to join our Product Marketing team. We're the strategic partner across Product, Revenue, and Operational teams behind a global brand and Canadian unicorn, driving product positioning, storytelling, and go-to-market clarity.

This role isn't about executing templates or optimizing existing processes. You'll help shape what product marketing looks like in the AI-enabled era. Using tools like Claude, ChatGPT, and Gemini, you'll help us build new GTM playbooks, reimagine how we enable sales teams, and discover creative ways to connect the right customers with our solutions.

You'll bring lateral thinking and experimentation to challenges that don't have established answers yet, we want you.

This is a rare opportunity to learn from a world-class/senior PMM team while having genuine strategic impact. If you want to be at the forefront of how AI transforms marketing; not just makes it faster, but fundamentally better… we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reimagine GTM with AI: Experiment with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, and Guru to discover new approaches to competitive positioning and internal enablement.
  • Build Our Competitive Intelligence Foundation: Conduct research and analysis on competitors, turning insights into strategic intelligence. You'll help establish how we track, understand, and respond to the competitive landscape in a rapidly evolving market.
  • Support Strategic Initiatives: Contribute to high-impact projects like our repositioning and website evolution.
  • Drive Demand Generation: Actively driving customer interest and product usage after the launch.
  • Pioneer AI-Powered Workflows: Design, test, and implement custom AI agents and workflows to automate product information dissemination and internal communication, leveraging tools like Guru and other internal systems.
  • Learn Through Real Challenges: Work alongside senior PMM leaders on live problems: How do we explain complex technology simply? What's the right narrative for a new product launch? How should we enable a global sales team? You'll get mentorship while tackling questions that matter.
  • Collaborate and Report: Work closely with the Product Marketing team and cross-functional partners to identify bottlenecks and propose innovative solutions. Report on project progress and the impact of new workflows and systems.
  • Experiment: The best part of working with a small team? You'll get pulled into unexpected opportunities—whether that's sitting in on executive strategy sessions, exploring new market segments, or testing approaches that don't have a playbook yet.
  • Embrace Stretch Opportunities (The Fun Part): As a GeoComply intern, expect to be pushed. You'll occasionally be given special, high-value projects outside the immediate scope of your role, a chance to explore new roles, test your limits, and adapt to new challenges across the business.
About You
  • Educated: There is no single degree or certification that is preferred for this position, current pursual or recent graduation from most programs will qualify you.
  • A genuine, demonstrated obsession with AI and its practical application to business workflows. A belief that tools can and should make a team operate better and faster.
  • A deep, natural enthusiasm for rethinking traditional marketing problems, not just writing code. A desire to break traditions that hold back efficiency.
  • An eagerness to learn critical, unglamorous skills like coordination, research, and admin that are the foundation of successful product launches.
  • Communicative: Whether written or verbal, people know what you mean, what you are asking for, and what is expected.
  • Organized: You have excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Discrete: You maintain high integrity and confidentiality of sensitive, complex information.
Bonus Points
  • AI-Obsessed & Creative: You demonstrate specific knowledge of custom AI tools (e.g., Custom GPTs, agents) and present a creative solution that goes beyond a basic Google Search.
  • A demonstrated interest in product marketing through personal projects or school club involvement
  • Experience with creating user personas,

What You'll Gain
  • Build an Expert Network: Work directly with senior leaders who are invested in your growth and meet with current and previous interns to build a strong professional network.
  • Master Essential Skills: Develop in-demand skills in project management, competitive intelligence, and AI-powered automation—the core competencies that will set you apart in any future role.
  • Drive High-Impact Projects: You won't be just an extra set of hands; you will take ownership of a key project with tangible results that directly impact the business.
  • Receive Direct Mentorship: Benefit from hands-on coaching and guidance from the Product Marketing team, gaining experiemce that go far beyond a typical internship.
