Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Meat Clerk for our Newmarket location. The ideal candidate will have a strong background meat merchandising and customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to meet customer needs
  • Process meat deliveries/orders
  • Merchandising of product
  • Receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures as required
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Monitor product freshness and rotate stock to minimize waste.

Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for inventory and presentation of products.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities.
