O'Neill Auto Group is seeking motivated, career-oriented people for the position of Service/Parts Advisor at our Whitecap Clarenville location. The Service/Parts Advisor is the dealership's front-line customer relations and Service/Parts representative.

As the Service/Parts Advisor, you report to the Service and Parts Managers and will assist in all areas including but not limited to:

Responsibilities

  • Greeting customers, building rapport, and responding to Service and Parts inquires
  • Maintaining thorough and accurate customer records and communications history
  • Advising customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications
  • Providing a digital cost estimate for labor and parts
  • Ensuring and exceeding customer's satisfaction and expectations within dealership standards
  • Using appropriate dealer software to check parts for customers
  • Organizing the parts department and maintaining the cleanliness of customer facing parts areas
  • Keeping current on new products and product updates
  • Participating in weekly department meetings
  • Multitasking and working in a fast-paced environment
  • Participating in training as needed
  • Maintaining professional appearance
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Proven experience in customer service, preferably in an automotive repair or dealership environment
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for this role
  • Ability to manage sales processes effectively while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with PBS is a plus but not required; training will be provided
  • A proactive attitude towards maintaining a clean and organized workspace is essential
  • Must be able to provide clear drivers abstract and code of conduct
