Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Industrial Cleaner to join our team. This position is for 6 hours per day in the evening, starting at 5:30pm and ending at midnight with 30 mins unpaid break, Monday to Friday (30 hours total per week). Pay will increase to $19/hour after 3 months probationary period (cannot miss a shift in those first 3 months).

Must have at least 2 years of industrial/ commercial cleaning experience and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments. This role involves performing cleaning duties in commercial settings, ensuring that all areas are kept in pristine condition for both employees and visitors. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
  • Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas.
  • Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and maintained properly.
  • Follow established cleaning procedures to meet safety and health standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
  • Assist with special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning or event preparation.
  • Maintain a positive attitude while working independently or as part of a team.

Requirements

  • +2 years previous industrial or commercial cleaning experience is required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision.
  • Good physical stamina and the ability to lift up to 35 pounds as needed.
  • Knowledge of cleaning products, chemicals, and equipment is a plus.
