Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality pizzas and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a commitment to food safety and hygiene standards, as well as the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook various types of pizzas according to established recipes and customer preferences.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety guidelines and health regulations.
  • Assist with meal preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing sauces, and assembling ingredients.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, reporting any shortages to management.
  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to special requests or dietary restrictions.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment is essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in the food industry is highly desirable.
  • Experience in serving customers and working as part of a team in a fast-paced setting will be beneficial.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 – 44 per week
