Our client, a well-established manufacturer serving the North American supermarket equipment industry, is experiencing significant growth and is currently seeking a
Sales Representative
to join their team.

The chosen candidate should be making upwards of $150k-185k in a reasonable amount of time.

Position Overview

Reporting to the VP of Sales & Marketing, the Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while maintaining and growing existing relationships with supermarket chains, independent food retailers, and distributors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Develop new markets for current and future product offerings
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and distributors
  • Prepare and present quotes and proposals to prospective clients
  • Provide regular updates on sales activities, prospects, and market trends
  • Travel as required to support client relationships and business development

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience
  • Bilingual in English and French
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Organized, results-driven, and customer-focused
  • Ability to understand technical product features and propose tailored solutions
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM tools, Teams/Zoom, and ERP systems (SAP Business One is an asset)
  • Previous experience in the supermarket industry is a strong advantage

What We Offer

  • Competitive base salary of $85,000
  • Uncapped commission structure
  • Full-time, permanent position (37.5 hours/week, Monday to Friday)
  • Benefits package (health and dental) after 3 months, 80% employer-paid
