Job Summary

The Franchisee Trainer is responsible for delivering comprehensive training to new and existing franchisees, ensuring they understand and consistently execute all operational standards, brand guidelines, and best practices. This role supports franchise partners throughout onboarding, store launch, and ongoing operational excellence.

Responsibilities

1. Training & Onboarding

  • Conduct initial and ongoing training programs for franchisees and their staff.
  • Train on brand standards, food preparation, product knowledge, customer service, POS systems, and operational procedures.
  • Guide franchisees through all pre-opening processes, including hiring, setup, and readiness evaluations.

2. Store Launch Support

  • Participate in soft openings and grand openings to ensure a smooth launch.
  • Provide hands-on support during the first days of operation to reinforce systems and procedures.
  • Identify training gaps and provide immediate corrective coaching.

3. Operational Execution

  • Ensure franchisees adhere to company policies, SOPs, food safety guidelines, and quality control standards.
  • Perform in-store evaluations and audits; provide feedback and action plans for improvement.
  • Monitor performance metrics and support franchisees in meeting KPIs.

4. Continuous Development

  • Provide ongoing refresher training, both in-person and virtually.
  • Assist in developing training materials, manuals, videos, and SOP updates.
  • Stay current with new product launches, menu updates, and operational changes; communicate them effectively.

5. Relationship Management

  • Build strong, supportive relationships with franchise operators and their teams.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for training-related concerns or operational challenges.
  • Communicate franchisee needs and insights back to the corporate team.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in training, hospitality, foodservice operations, or franchising.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel to franchise locations as required.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and restaurant operations.
  • Ability to coach, motivate, and influence others in a positive manner.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand for extended periods during training sessions.

Pay: $50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
