How will you make an impact?
The QA Associate reports to the QA Manager who shows a high degree of initiative and is a team player with excellent communication abilities. The QA Associate must be comfortable in a pharmaceutical environment with great attention to detail, a comprehensive understanding of GMP, GLP guidelines, and strong organizational skills which will drive projects to completion.
What will you do?
- Manage GMP documentation, change controls, and OOS
- CAPA Management - manages/tracks site CAPA program and ensures all departments are meeting obligations for CAPA based on deviation, complaints, audits, and change controls
- SOP Management - oversees site GMP related SOPs and ensures that they are meeting current corporate and regulatory requirements
- Complaints - provides QA support for complaint investigation
- Audits and tracks the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program
- Maintenance of quality agreements with suppliers, customers, and contractors
- Participate in client audits and regulatory inspections (Health Canada, FDA, ISO)
- Responsible for monitoring and timely requisition of laboratory supplies
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Manage calibration and maintenance of data loggers and all laboratory equipment/instruments
How will you get here?
- University/College Degree in Science
- 3-5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a pharmaceutical environment
- Technical writing in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset
- Knowledge of laboratory testing equipment such as HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, UV, IR, Titrators, etc would be an asset
- Advanced word processing skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills
- Deadline oriented with the flexibility to work in a multitasking environment
