How will you make an impact?

The QA Associate reports to the QA Manager who shows a high degree of initiative and is a team player with excellent communication abilities. The QA Associate must be comfortable in a pharmaceutical environment with great attention to detail, a comprehensive understanding of GMP, GLP guidelines, and strong organizational skills which will drive projects to completion.

What will you do?

  • Manage GMP documentation, change controls, and OOS
  • CAPA Management - manages/tracks site CAPA program and ensures all departments are meeting obligations for CAPA based on deviation, complaints, audits, and change controls
  • SOP Management - oversees site GMP related SOPs and ensures that they are meeting current corporate and regulatory requirements
  • Complaints - provides QA support for complaint investigation
  • Audits and tracks the Preventative Maintenance (PM) program
  • Maintenance of quality agreements with suppliers, customers, and contractors
  • Participate in client audits and regulatory inspections (Health Canada, FDA, ISO)
  • Responsible for monitoring and timely requisition of laboratory supplies
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Manage calibration and maintenance of data loggers and all laboratory equipment/instruments

How will you get here?

  • University/College Degree in Science
  • 3-5 years of Quality Assurance experience in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Technical writing in the pharmaceutical industry is an asset
  • Knowledge of laboratory testing equipment such as HPLC, GC, ICP-MS, UV, IR, Titrators, etc would be an asset
  • Advanced word processing skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills
  • Deadline oriented with the flexibility to work in a multitasking environment
