Are you a student or recent graduate in Social Services, Psychology, or a related field looking to gain hands-on experience? Join our growing team as a Group Support Facilitator Volunteer in Guelph or Acton, where you'll help implement engaging and impactful programming for both youth and adults.

About the Role

We are seeking committed, compassionate, and enthusiastic volunteers to support a variety of ABA groups, life skills groups, and drop-in programs. As a volunteer, you will:

  • Assist in running weekly and drop-in group programs
  • Implement programming tailored to developmental, social, or life skills goals
  • Supervise and support children, youth, or adults with varying needs
  • Provide coaching to help participants practice social, communication, and life skills
  • Collaborate with a professional team and gain valuable hands-on experience in community services

Time Commitment

Guelph (Youth Program):

  • Weekly ABA or social skills groups
  • Tuesdays | 1 hour/week | Evening sessions (1–2 hours)

Acton (Adult Life Skills & Drop-In)

  • Life skills and community engagement programming
  • Drop-In Hours: Monday, Wednesday, or Friday | Between 9 AM – 1 PM (Flexible scheduling)
  • Occasional weekend opportunities
