As we continue to expand our clinical practice initiatives and system-level improvement efforts, we are seeking a motivated, energetic, and detail-oriented individual to support this important work. You will play a vital role in helping to shape meaningful change in respiratory care across the health system while gaining valuable experience in program coordination, stakeholder engagement, and clinician education.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Clinical Practice Transformation, the Coordinator, Clinical Practice Transformation is responsible for supporting the planning and delivery of strategic initiatives that broaden our reach and strengthen our impact. You will contribute to a variety of high-impact projects, including the coordination of major educational events, such as our signature Better Breathing Week conference. You will support our online Community of Practice (CoP), a key platform for clinician collaboration and knowledge exchange, and assist with the development of educational resources that empower health care providers to deliver high-quality, evidence-informed care.
In this role, you will play an active part in shaping and delivering clinician education initiatives that translate evidence into practice and support continuous professional development. You will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure that all programs are strategically aligned, well-integrated, and responsive to the evolving needs of the health system. Your contributions will include coordinating logistics, managing communications, and providing essential administrative support across multiple projects. Through this work, you will help create meaningful learning experiences that empower clinicians, enhance care quality, and advance our broader system transformation goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Coordinator, Clinical Practice Transformation will partner with a collaborative, cross-functional team to plan and execute a diverse portfolio of initiatives that advance the LHF's mission to improve lung health for all people in Canada. This role plays a vital part in ensuring seamless coordination, operational excellence, and stakeholder engagement across a range of programs, events, and system-level transformation efforts. With a focus on clinician engagement, knowledge translation, and continuous improvement, the Coordinator helps drive impact at both the individual provider and health system levels.
Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating logistics for high-profile events and education sessions, including LHF's marquee Better Breathing Week conference, workshops, and webinars. Responsibilities include managing speaker communications, organizing session logistics, developing agendas and schedules, and supporting technical platforms to ensure successful execution.
- Supporting accreditation processes for educational offerings, including securing clinical expert review, liaising with speakers, preparing evaluation summaries, collating documentation, and ensuring timely submission and payment.
- Identifying and coordinating LHF's presence at external conferences and professional events, including abstract submission, exhibitor registration, staff scheduling, and organizing the transport and setup of booth materials to maximize visibility and engagement.
- Providing coordination support for internal and external meetings, including those involving working groups, advisory committees, and key partners. This includes scheduling, preparing materials, and ensuring follow-up actions are tracked and completed.
- Managing and maintaining accurate program data and stakeholder information, supporting evaluation, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts across clinical and educational initiatives.
- Supporting ongoing engagement with the Lung Health Foundation Collaborative, including content development and distribution for newsletters, email campaigns, and contributions to the CoP platform.
- Acting as a key user and troubleshooter for virtual collaboration and event technologies, such as CRM systems, Zoom, Teams, and other digital platforms. Duties include building and managing event sessions, training speakers and staff, and ensuring a smooth virtual experience for all participants.
- Championing health equity by helping to embed equity principles into program design, outreach strategies, and event planning. This includes considering diverse audiences, reducing access barriers, and fostering inclusive environments for participants and stakeholders.
- Contributing to a positive, inclusive, and high-performing team culture by actively participating in team meetings, embracing a spirit of collaboration and continuous learning, and supporting colleagues across functions with flexibility and enthusiasm.
- Performing other cross-functional duties as required, demonstrating adaptability and a proactive approach to emerging opportunities and organizational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS
- An undergraduate degree in either a health or science related discipline, marketing, communications, or business administration or other related field.
- The ideal candidate has demonstrated experience in some or all of the following areas:
- Knowledge product development;
- Healthcare provider education/continuing education/continuing professional development;
- Knowledge mobilization and/or implementation science;
- Network management (e.g. online communities, professional networks, etc.);
- Committee management;
- Customer service.
- CRE-designated considered an asset.
- Fluency in French is highly valued.
- Strong project coordination skills required.
- Proficiency with Cvent and Salesforce is an asset.
