Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice

Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance on aircraft under the direction of the AME Lead Hand
- Perform all maintenance activities in accordance with the applicable airworthiness standards
- Complete all paperwork for assigned tasks in an accurate and timely matter
- Proper use of PPE equipment and recognizing safety as a number one priority
- General Hangar cleanup and organization
Requirements:
- Must be an AME graduate from a Transport Canada Approved Training Organization
- Driver's license required
- Willing to attend courses as directed by company management
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License
- Must have own basic mechanics toolbox & tools
- Ability to take initiative, take direction and learn quickly
- Multitasking and flexibility
- Mechanically inclined, ability to work with your hands
- Computer knowledge
- Strong English verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work shift-work and overtime
- Physically fit, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, as well as climb, kneel, and work frequently in tight spaces.
- Experience towing a trailer and Class 3 Driver's License is an asset
Work Condition:
- You will be based out of our main office near the airport in Prince George, B.C.
- Frequent travel is required to meet our customers on site needs throughout BC, Saskatchewan and Alberta
- Schedule during off-season is typically Monday to Friday at our Prince George Base
- Schedule during flying-season is typically 21-days on and 7-days off. Flying season is usually April to September.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship
Pay: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Prince George, BC
