Overview

We are looking for a friendly, detail-focused Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The right candidate will be the first person patients meet, offering great customer service and handling different administrative duties in a busy medical office. This position needs a good grasp of medical terms and skills in using electronic medical records systems.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome patients and visitors with a friendly attitude to create a pleasant environment at the front desk,
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
  • Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers using systems such as OSCAR PRO.
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure smooth office operations and effective communication within the team.
  • Answer phone calls promptly, addressing patient inquiries and directing calls as necessary.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and managing office supplies.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is required.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly OSCAR PRO, is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology to facilitate effective communication with healthcare professionals and patients.
  • Familiarity with Google Suite applications (Docs, Sheets, Calendar) is required.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to interact positively with patients, families, and staff members.
