Agropur is looking for a Operations Performance Management Supervisor to join is Victoria team.

Reporting to the Plant Director, the Production Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all activities related to production demands and scheduling. This position is also responsible for the supervision and operations of the dry goods warehouse department. This position will schedule and create production plans for milk, culture, cottage cheese and ice cream, and soft serve to meet customer needs. This Supervisor helps maintain the requirements for food quality, safety, and defense and promotion of a quality culture through leadership, ownership, and accountability.

• Salary range 004: 74 900$ to 93 600$ (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

What's Involved In This Role
More specifically, the Operations Performance Management Supervisor's responsibilities will include:

• Interpret production forecasts, promotional activities and sales history to create daily and forward-looking production plans for milk, culture, cottage cheese and ice cream ensuring high service rate and minimal overtime or rescheduling requirements.
• Maintain inventory levels of raw milk and cream, products, ingredients and packaging (including jugs) to ensure no production delays and customer demands are met.
• Lead a weekly Production Planning meeting to discuss upcoming demands and scheduling needs, and provide Production Supervisors with manpower requirements to meet production demands.
• Lead the supervision, review, analysis and corrective & preventative actions to monthly inventory count activities.
• Provide leadership and supervision of the dry goods warehouse department and production clerks to support the OPM role.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by participating in root cause analysis, management meetings, health and safety or quality discussions as requested.
• Establish daily planning and warehouse KPIs (SQCDME), tracks results and actions to understand and address variances including planned vs achieved production from previous day and adjust future plans accordingly.
• Participate in the continuous improvement of processes and forecasting tools, ascertain existing system limitations, propose required changes and implementation strategies.
• In collaboration with the QC Department, identify and communicate ingredient/packaging issues to suppliers and Corporate for tracking and resolution.
• Support the achievement of all corporate and site objectives.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What You Need To Join Our Team

• College diploma or university degree in a related field or other relevant training.
• 3-5 years experience supervisory experience in a unionized environment (mandatory).
• Knowledge of quality assurance systems (GMP, HACCP and SQF).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and field-specific software.
• Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma experience is an asset.
