Job Title: ESL teacher

Location: Laureate College, Ontario

Employment Type: Part-Time (Mornings)

Position Overview:

Laureate College is seeking a passionate and dedicated Secondary classroom Teacher to deliver high-quality instruction in our English as a Second Language Program on a part-time basis. This role begins on November 6, 2025. If you are passionate about education and eager to inspire and empower students, we invite you to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, on-campus lessons in ESL that meet Laureate College's Ontario curriculum standards.
  • Develop lesson plans and teaching materials tailored to diverse student needs and learning styles.
  • Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, tests, and participation.
  • Foster an inclusive and stimulating learning environment that encourages academic growth.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, collaborative projects, and professional development initiatives.
  • Maintain clear communication with students, parents, and colleagues about student performance and needs.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree or higher in Education, English, Social Science, Business or a related discipline.
  • Teaching certification (OCT) or equivalent ESL qualifications (preferred).
  • Previous experience teaching ESL (Ontario Credit Courses)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and classroom management skills.
  • A commitment to student success and creating an engaging learning environment.
